Deghy Privacy Policy

1. What Information We Collect (And Don't Collect)

Deghy is built around local-first design, so we prioritize keeping your data in your control:

• Your Personal Diary Content: All content you create in Deghy — including window photos, sky mood settings, feeling tags, personal notes, streak data, and diary entries — is stored exclusively on your iPhone. We do not collect, access, or store any of this content on our servers.
• Voluntarily Provided Information: The only information we ever receive is what you choose to send us when you contact us for support, feedback, or other inquiries. This may include your email address and the content of your message. We only receive this information when you choose to share it with us.
• Tracking & Analytics: Deghy does not use any third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising tools. We do not collect any anonymous usage data, device information, or browsing activity from your use of the app.

2. How We Use Information

Since we do not hold any of your personal diary content, we have no information to use for any purpose other than the limited case of voluntary communication:

• If you contact us with questions or feedback, we will only use the information you provide to respond to your request, resolve issues you report, and improve Deghy's features and user experience.
• We never use any information you share with us for advertising, marketing, or any other unrelated purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

All your personal diary data is stored only on your device, protected by your device's built-in security features (such as passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID). We do not have remote access to your data, and we cannot retrieve deleted data for you if you remove the app from your device.

Deghy lets you export framed keepsakes of your favorite entries to your device's photo library as a backup option. We recommend you export entries you want to keep long-term to avoid accidental data loss when changing devices or uninstalling the app.

The limited information you share with us via email is stored securely on our service providers' systems, and we only keep it for as long as needed to address your inquiry.

4. Sharing Your Information

We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties. The only exceptions are:

• You explicitly give us permission to share your information;
• We are required to disclose the limited information you provided to us to comply with applicable requirements;
• We work with limited service providers who help us operate our email support systems, and these providers are prohibited from using your information for any other purpose.

Again, since all your diary content stays on your device, we have no data to share with any third parties regardless of circumstance.

5. Your Full Control Over Your Data

You retain 100% control over all your data in Deghy at all times:

• You can edit or delete any individual diary entry at any time directly in the app;
• You can export any entry to your photo library to keep your own backup;
• You can permanently delete all your Deghy data at any time by uninstalling the app from your device;
• We never restrict your access to or control over your own content.

6. Updates To This Policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally to reflect changes to our practices or app features. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes.
